With a huge back catalogue of MOD anthems, every Lost Weekend gig is a foot tapping, hip shaking, sing-along party - a true celebration of British music from the 60’s to the current day.
This ever popular, fab four from Herne Bay were inspired by the energy of Britpop and formed during the spring of 94. The Lost Weekend hit the ground running, skilfully reproducing classics from the Jam, Small Faces, the Kinks and the Beatles, closely followed with new songs of the time by the likes of Oasis, Blur and Supergrass. All are still regulars in todays set which is formed of a rich variety of songs that have influenced generations.
2016 saw the Lost Weekend record ‘210’, their first album of originally crafted tunes. With some of these written and regularly played back in the nineties, the band were thrilled to finally get the opportunity to record and share them with their loyal followers. And there’s plenty more in the pipeline - album number 2 may not be far away!
